Terms & Conditions

MWTA Membership Terms and Conditions:

  • All yearly subscriptions shall be payable in advance on 1st January each year to the Malaysia Will and Trust Association (MWTA).
  • Renewal of membership will only be processed upon successful clearance of cheques.
  • Membership fees paid are neither transferable nor refundable.
  • I agree that by submitting the online MWTA membership form, I shall constitute the acceptance of and be bound by the rules and regulations of the Association.
  • The applicant agrees that the committee may have the right to decline the application without assigning any reasons.
  • Associate memberships do not include voting rights.

 

Certificate of Competency in Estate Planning Terms and Conditions:

  • Class schedule will be notified once the course has been confirmed for commencement.
  • Fees paid are not transferable or refundable once the course has been confirmed for commencement or has commenced.
  • Course will commence once the minimum number of 10 enrolments is fulfilled.
  • Malaysia Will and Trust Association (PPM-023-10-29012021) reserves the right to amend, modify or revise any of the terms as may be reasonably required for the commencement of the course.


Disclaimer: The Course Organizer reserves the right to modify or alter the course contents, curriculum, and materials as necessary to ensure the course runs at its best quality. Any changes made will be aimed at enhancing the learning experience and providing the most up-to-date information to participants. Participants will be duly informed of any significant modifications that may impact the course content. By enrolling in the course, participants acknowledge and accept this right of the Course Organizer to make appropriate improvements to the course.

Refund & Exchange Policy

These terms and conditions govern the refund and exchange policy of the website – http://www.mwta.org.my owned by the Malaysia Will & Trust Association (MWTA) (“the Platform”) for the refund and exchange request made by the User. (“Policy”). This Policy applies in addition to the Platform’s Terms of Use and in the event of inconsistency, this Policy shall prevail. The Policy is only applicable to Users who have made payment for such purpose through the Platform.

All the terms shall have the same meaning set form in the Platform’s Terms of Use unless otherwise defined in this Policy and by using the Platform as a User, you are indicating that you have read and that you understand and agree to be bound by this Policy.

Due to the nature of the products, the Platform do not provide exchanges for the products which have been delivered through the Platform.

The Conditions for Requesting Refund.

When can I get my refunds?
In any case of a refund, you will be refunded via the original payment method. We will process your refund within 30 business days after a confirmation from us.

Return Rejection
We reserve the right to reject returned items that are not of the same purchased device (same IMEI/SN with your order) and/or tampered with.

Exchange Policy
All purchases are final, and exchanges are not permitted unless covered by our warranty terms and conditions.

MWTA Education Course

For the purpose hereof, to request for refund, the following criteria are required to be met:-

  • If the minimum enrolment requirement of 10 is not fulfilled;
  • If the User has been notified on the cancellation of the course selected.

MOHWA Award

For the purpose hereof, to request for refund, the following criteria are required to be met:-

  • The event has been cancelled by MWTA;
  • The application of refund request must be made by the Users by contacting MWTA through info@mwta.org.my in writing within 14 days from the date of notice of cancellation of event.

Acknowledgement by Users

Platform’s decision under this Policy is final and binding on the Users but do not in any or howsoever manner affect other contractual or statutory rights that the Users have in the Platform’s Terms of Use. In any event, the Platform shall not be held liable either to the Users in whatsoever and howsoever manner.

The Platform will notify the Users on the next steps once the application to request for refund is verified and approved by MWTA. For the purpose hereof, the Users acknowledge and agree that the refund request shall only be applicable with the requirements being met.

Modification or Termination

The Platform reserves the right to modify or terminate this Policy, at any time in its sole discretion. If the Platform modifies this Policy, the Platform will post the modification on the Platform and the Platform will continue to process all refund application made prior to the effective date of the modification according to the then applicable policy.

Time

Time is of the essence of this Policy whenever mentioned.

Applicable Law

Law of Malaysia shall be governing law in this Policy.
